Good morning, fam!
Hope you all had a good we..let’s be honest, this week was a complete shit show.
I don’t know about you, but mine was filled with anger, regret, sadness, and more ups and downs than an episode of Breaking Bad.
Since we all could use a little calmness and sanity, I figured this would be the perfect time to share some cozy recs I’ve recently enjoyed.
While I figure out WTF happened on Tuesday, check out this week’s recs.
Pop a gummy, wrap yourself in a warm cocoon of comfort, and let’s get into it.
Here’s what I have for you this morning:
UPDATES
If you’re like me and have a spicy sense of humor, check out a new thing I started on Instagram. It might be just the distraction you need.
As someone who spends wayyy too much time on LinkedIn, I figured I would share the “People You Meet on LinkedIn” on Medium. Did I forget anyone?

Many of us are still wondering how the eff Trump won. If you want to organize some of the chaos and need a clear-cut breakdown, check out this episode of Pod Save America. (★★★••)
OK, so I wouldn’t exactly describe this movie as “cozy,” but me and a friend saw Anora at Alamo, and my god, was it good. Imagine the broad strokes of Pretty Woman with the continuous stress of Uncut Gems (which I still haven’t seen, but I think I get the gist of it). Mikey Madison will easily be in the running for Best Actress for this one. (★★★★•)
Once again, not exactly “cozy,” but we watched Challengers for movie night, and the only redeeming part of the movie was Zendaya. You might like it more if you’re super into tennis, but let’s be honest—you’re probably not. (★★•••)
Now for the cozy stuff. I’ve shared it before, but X-Ray Vision shared a “Cozy Content” episode this week because they knew we needed it. The two hosts and two producers share their coziest books, movies, shows, video games, and hobbies to help you stay sane. Apparently, Stardew Valley is the ultimate cozy game. (★★★★★)
Desperate for a cozy snack, I popped over to Local Harvest and picked up this Peanut Butter Cup Chocolate Truffle Bar from Honey Mama’s. It’s gluten-free, dairy-free, and tastes like a warm, Reese’s hug. Pick up a few because you deserve it. (★★★★•)
You made it to the end! As a bonus, I’ll leave you with this.
Cheers,
Billy
