Good morning, fam!
Hope you all had a good workweek.
For those of you who have been following for a while, you’ve probably noticed things look very different. That’s because Saturday Morning Cartoons is now just one series of…(drum roll please)…
What exactly does that mean? I won’t bore you with the details, but if you’re interested in learning more, check out this longer post here.
For all the new readers, ignore everything you just read!
While I respond to all of the LinkedIn randos congratulating me on my “new job” at The Workfarce (lol) feel free to check out this week’s recs.
Put on that oversized cozy sweater, get yourself another cup of coffee (or tea if that’s your thing), and let’s get into it!
Here’s what I have for you this morning:
If you’re a fan of edgy retellings of kids cartoons, then you might be a fan of Velma. Keyword is “might.” With only two episodes out, it seems like most people aren’t.
Next on the animated list is Koala Man, Hulu’s newest adult cartoon from the co-creator of Rick and Morty. Honestly, I didn’t expect to learn so much about Australia’s social hierarchy while laughing my ass off. Worth checking out!
We watched the first episode of The Last of Us which was a looong time coming, especially after playing through both games and the expansion pack during quarantine. Honestly, this is some of the best, most gut-wrenching storytelling I’ve come across in any form. Period. Check this show out even if you’re not a huge fan of video games.

Here’s a look back at 2022 and some tech trends to look out for during 2023.
The era of happy tech workers is over. Do you agree?
Looking for a pay bump? Netflix is hiring a flight attendant for one of their private jets and the right candidate could make up to $385,000.
Did I mention The Workfarce is officially live! If you’re reading this, then you’ve (hopefully) already subscribed. Want access to even more advice and yummy content? Become a paid subscriber.
You made it to the end! As a bonus, I’ll leave you with this.
