Good morning, fam!
Hope you all had a good workweek.
Apparently that furry little turd saw his shadow, which means we’re all in for six more weeks of winter. Rude.
While I look up cheap flights to somewhere a little warmer (Miami anyone?), feel free to check out this week’s recs.
Turn on that extra heater, wrap yourself in your biggest comforter, and let’s get into it.
Here’s what I have for you this morning:
I read The Practice by Seth Godin and it couldn’t be better timing. It’s all about shipping creative work (which you’re currently reading) and focusing on the process instead of the outcome. Always a nice reminder :)
By this point, I’ve already plugged The Last of Us (the game and the show) a bunch of times in this newsletter, but if you haven’t seen episode three, my God, it will make you full on ugly cry. Some of the best TV we’ve gotten in a while.

Do you find yourself constantly overworking week after week? Here’s an argument for prioritizing rest over work.
The co-founders of Instagram are back with their newest app and it’s a personalized news app called Artifact that uses AI. It’s being called the “TikTok of text.”

Speaking of which, if you’ve ever wondered how the hell Barnes & Noble made it through the Amazon onslaught, this might help.
Do you have a tough time balancing multiple creative projects at once? Here’s a little advice on how to organize all the chaos.

What are your thoughts on fully-remote jobs?
Check out my new favorite Twitter account where a designer shares fictional product ideas/updates every day.

Cheers,
