Good morning, fam!
Hope you all had a good workweek.
We spent St. Paddy’s Day yesterday in Dogtown, the Irish capital of St. Louis, and checked all of the must-haves off the list - Irish coffee, Jameson, Irish stew, more Irish coffee, Guinness, etc. Did I mention Irish coffee?
While I figure out how much coffee is too much coffee, feel free to check out this week’s recs.
Brew up some coffee, add a little Jamo and Bailey’s, and let’s get into it.
Here’s what I have for you this morning:
What if you could go back in time, but only long enough for a cup of coffee to get cold? That’s the premise of my newest read Before the Coffee Get Cold by Toshikazu Kawaguchi and there are a few more catches.
I’ve started reading more comics in the evening which is why I blew threw volumes three and four of Something is Killing the Children. If you can stomach some blood and gore (it’s in the name), then this is definitely worth a read.
We watched the first episode of Mel Brooks’ History of the World Part 2 and a lot of the humor felt a little too forced for me. Probably won’t be finishing it any time soon.
In St. Louis, we celebrate 314 day just a little differently ;)
Starting a company? Don’t forget this checklist.
Did you miss the Oscars? Don’t worry - here are the best and worst moments of the night.
If you’re looking for a better way to work with clients, try giving them a “Working With Me” guide.
Curious about Zuckerburg’s thoughts behind all of the Meta layoffs? Check out this memo he shared with the company.
You made it to the end! As a bonus, I’ll leave you with this.
Cheers,
Billy
