Hope you all had a good week.
I’ve never been more ready for the “Three F’s of Fall” - flannel, fires1, and Frappuccinos (with a little pumpkin spice of course). Thanks to this insane heat, you better believe those Frappuccinos are going to be hella iced.

Here’s what I have for you this morning:
It’s not often a book cuts deep with me, but Tinkers threw me for a loop. It’s about an old man on his deathbed and his history with his father. It’s short, the prose is amazing, and it really is a beautiful read. (★★★★•)
For movie night we leaned into the hype and watched Red, White, & Royal Blue. As far as romcoms go, I was pleasantly surprised! It was cute, funny, and the actor who plays the President’s son is objectively one of the most attractive humans in Hollywood. Worth a watch! (★★★••)
I continued my Suits spree by plowing through season three and it doesn’t disappoint. Without giving away the cliffhanger, let’s just say Mike ends up wearing a few different suits ;) (★★★★•)
Abby and I have been looking for more co-op video games and this week, we finally started It Takes Two. What starts out as a kid-friend game quickly turns into an adult story about divorce. There’s even some spicy language! So far, it’s a ton of fun with boss battles that are just hard enough. (★★★★•)
I know I’ve shared Off Menu in the past, but I just listened to their 200th episode and instead of interviewing someone else, James and Ed share their own dream menus. If you if have no idea what I’m talking about, check it out and then tell me it’s not one of the best pods out there. (★★★★★)
It might not feel anything like fall, but pumpkin spice is rearing it’s basic head which means I picked up a box of Pumpkin Spice Cheerios from Target. It’s surprisingly better than both Frosted Lemon and Blueberry.2 (★★★••)
After trying the cinnamon and brown sugar flavor, I had to pick up Planters Rosemary & Sea Salt Cashews and dear god were they good. Mr. Peanut delivers yet another bite-sized banger! (★★★★•)
What makes a sandwich a sandwich? When it doubt, trying consulting the sandwich alignment chart. I was surprised to find out I’m more of a purist. (★★★••)
