Welp, if you live in St. Louis, then you’re also hunkering down for a few frosty days. We’re looking at a high of SEVEN DEGREES tomorrow which means we will 100% be creating a literal dog pile at home.
While I figure out how to weather-proof a house on Google, check out this week’s recs.

Here’s what I have for you this morning:
I randomly picked up I Kill Giants from The Fantasy Shop and I immediately fell in love with this graphic novel. It’s about a sarcastic fifth grader who wields an ancient Norse warhammer and kills giants…or does she? (★★★★•)
You guessed it - I watched It’s Always Sunny Season season 12 and my favorite episode was “Old Lady House: A Situational Comedy” (the gang bugs Charlie’s mom’s house and ends up turning all of the footage into a sitcom complete with a laugh track). (★★★★•)
After watching the first Extraction last week, there was obviously only one option for this week’s movie night. That’s right - we watched Extraction 2: 2 Ex 2 Tract.1 Once again, Chris Hemsworth is running around, punching random people with a flaming arm and shooting helicopters from the top of a speeding train. It’s basically a video game at this point. (★★★••)
After being targeted on Instagram for months, I finally caved and bought these Feals Tranquil Tangerine Gummies. They’ve made winding down for the night and getting to sleep much easier. Plus, they’re tasty as hell! (★★★★★)
Abby and I decided to “modify” our Whole30 diet and give ourselves a break Thursday-Saturday. OK, so we may have decided this on the way to Trader Joe’s which meant I was allowed to get these Snacky Clusters. I’m warning you, TJ’s has crossed the line because I don’t think the world isn’t ready for potato chips, corn chips, and mini pretzel nuggets dipped in chocolate?!?! (★★★★•)

I played Death’s Door on PlaySation for a little bit and immediately loved the art style. It’s basically Tunic meets Cult of the Lamb. I’ll probably play through the rest if I have time. (★★★••)
While in the neighborhood, I popped into Whole Foods and found this White Widow NA Cider. I know an apple cider vinegar-based cider sounds gross, but I promise, these are fire. (★★★★•)
